THE HOMECOMING & THE PATH THAT LED ME HERE
REFLECTIONS FROM BHAVINI’S DESK
On March 27, 2006, I walked into Studio RYS, formerly known as RYS Architects, unaware that I was stepping into what would become a defining cornerstone of my architectural journey. Working alongside a talented team led by our founder, Bob Sauvageau, I was given the space to grow, to learn, and to understand the importance of both technical mastery and the softer skills that shape true collaboration.

One VISION, MANY DISCIPLINES, SEAMLESS DESIGN
From the very beginning, we have moved in harmony. Architecture and interior design have never felt like separate disciplines to us—they naturally inform one another, evolving together until they become a single, shared story. From the earliest sketches to the final layers of detail, we are both guided by the same intention: to design spaces that feel intuitive, cohesive, and deeply connected to the way people live, gather, and experience life.

How Our Story Became One
Sometimes the right opportunities arrive quietly – two firms, each with their own strengths, experiences, and perspectives, suddenly placed side by side. What begins as a simple collaboration slowly grows into something far more meaningful.
